    Staggering - best film of 2001 by a long shot. Interestingly, the Coens seem to have shifted to character based pieces more and more as their career has progressed.

    the coen brothers are possibly the greatest people in film making at the moment;
    man who wasn't there wasn't quite up there with raising arizona, fargo & big lebowski, but it was still infinitely better than most of the dribble that comes to the screens these days...
    can't wait til their next movie,
    also, if you liked their scripts, read "gates of eden" a book of short stories by ethan coen - utterly awesome.
